The borough of Ambler is located 15 miles north of Philadelphia in Southeastern Pennsylvania’s Montgomery County. It is a beautiful small town covering less than a square mile with a population of approximately 6,400. Its restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and shops; convenient public transportation accessibility, and a “walk-able” downtown business and arts district make it a perfect location for living, working and entertaining.
The restaurant scene in Ambler is hot, and Act II Playhouse partners with many restaurants in town. Our subscribers enjoy 10% off their bill (excluding alcohol and gratuity) at these restaurants.
Act II Playhouse works collaboratively with Ambler Main Street, a non-profit organization dedicated to making “Downtown Ambler” a social, cultural and business center, as well as with other local restaurants, businesses and non-profit organizations on community events, festivals, and programs throughout the year.
Ambler is conveniently located within minutes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-276), the Blue Route (I-476) and Route 309. SEPTA’s Route 94 and 98 buses and the Lansdsale/Doylestown train also serve the community. Ambler Borough offers free metered parking in the evening after 6 p.m. and throughout the year at designated times. Check in advance to be sure!
