The borough of Ambler is located 15 miles north of Philadelphia in southeastern Pennsylvania. It is a friendly town covering less than a square mile in area with a population of approximately 6,400. Its restaurants, shops, convenient public transportation accessibility, and a “walkable” downtown commercial district make it an ideal location for living, working and entertaining.

Act II Playhouse partners with many restaurants in town. Our subscribers get exclusive discounts at these restaurants.

Act II Playhouse works collaboratively with Ambler Main Street, a non-profit organization dedicated to making “Downtown Ambler” a social, cultural and business center, as well as with other local restaurants, businesses and non-profit organizations on community events, festivals, and programs throughout the year.

Ambler is conveniently located within minutes of the Pennsylvania turnpike (I-276), the Blue Route (I-476) and Route 309. SEPTA’s Route 94 and 98 busses and the Lansdsale/Doylestown train  also serve it. Ambler Borough offers free meter parking in the evening after 6 p.m., and free parking on Sundays.
