The borough of Ambler is located 15 miles north of Philadelphia in Southeastern Pennsylvania’s Montgomery County. It is a beautiful small town covering less than a square mile with a population of approximately 6,400. Its restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and shops; convenient public transportation accessibility, and a “walk-able” downtown business and arts district make it a perfect location for living, working and entertaining.
Our theatre is located on the corner of Butler Ave. and Cavalier Drive with paid parking available behind us in a municipal lot, and both free and metered street parking throughout the neighborhood.
The restaurant scene in Ambler is hot, and Act II Playhouse partners with many restaurants in town. Our subscribers enjoy a variety of exclusive shopping and dining offers – give us a call for more information, 215.654.0200.
Act II Playhouse works collaboratively with Ambler Main Street, a non-profit organization dedicated to making “Downtown Ambler” a social, cultural and business center, as well as with other local restaurants, businesses and non-profit organizations on community events, festivals, and programs throughout the year.
Ambler is conveniently located within minutes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-276), the Blue Route (I-476) and Route 309. SEPTA’s Route 94 and 98 buses and the Lansdsale/Doylestown train also serve the community. Ambler Borough offers free metered parking in the evening after 6 p.m. and throughout the year at designated times. Check in advance to be sure!
