Returning to the Playhouse after its successful run in 2007, Tony Braithwaite assumes the mantel of beloved comedian, George Burns, in a one-show devoted to Burns’ life and work: first as a double act alongside his beloved wife and comedy partner, Gracie Allen, and later as a solo performer whose career was revitalized late in life. Playwright Rupert Holmes has praised Tony’s portrayal in a show that is guaranteed to delight Act II audiences.
