Looking to take your understanding of acting to the next level? It’s your turn in the spotlight to perform a monologue from one of your favorite plays, TV shows, or movies! You’ll learn the ins and outs of stage performance, and how to prepare yourself for your next – or very first – audition!

Meet the Instructors!

NICK CARDILLO is an actor and Montgomery County native. He has appeared at Act II Playhouse in It’s Only a Play (2024) and has been seen on stage at Montgomery Theater, Dutch Country Players, Playcrafters of Skippack, and Town & Country Players. Favorite past productions include The Mousetrap (Sgt. Trotter), Doubt (Father Flynn), She Stoops to Conquer (Charles Marlow), and Bram Stoker’s Dracula (Count Dracula). Nick joined Act II Playhouse in 2022 as Director of Marketing and is a graduate of Susquehanna University with degrees in Theatre and Journalism. He is thrilled to be sharing teaching responsibilities with his partner, Madison, and, when not performing, is an avid reader, writer, and film buff.

 

MADISON NINESS is an actor, writer, director, educator, and works for a local non-profit organization. She has appeared on stage at Dutch Country Players and SALT Performing Arts. Favorite past productions include: The Mineola Twins (Myra/Myrna), Silent Sky (Willliamina Fleming), Bram Stoker’s Dracula (Mina) and The Game’s Afoot (Aggie Wheeler). Behind the scenes, Madison has co-directed Much Ado About Nothing and A Midsummer Night’s Dream with her partner and Act II Playhouse Intro to Acing co-teacher, Nick Cardillo. Madison, a graduate of Susquehanna University with a degree in Theatre and Creative Writing, serves on the board of the Mark G Niness Foundation, and is excited to share her love of theatre with the Ambler community.
