Whether you’re just starting out, looking to sharpen your skills, or audition on a collegiate/professional level; this two-day audition/monologue intensive workshop is designed to help bring you to the next level professionally. Each participant will bring a monologue of their choice, and together in group settings, we’ll go beat by beat and you will receive feedback that focuses on strong, specific choices and clear intentions.
Please bring a monologue that you feel confident performing and that really suits you. The more familiar you are with your material, the deeper we can go in exploring character choices and performance. Please send me your monologue of choice before the class begins, so I can have a clear background on what you will be performing.
You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of your material, tools to strengthen any performance, and greater confidence for your next audition or performance.

What We’ll Work On:
- Acting through a monologue with intention and confidence

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR:
Renee McFillin is a Philadelphia-based actress who has been performing throughout the region for the past seven years. She’s appeared in over eight productions at Act II Playhouse, a theater she considers a second home, and has brought her talents to comedies, farces, musicals, and contemporary dramas across the area. Renee holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Musical Theatre from DeSales University and has also gained experience working on film sets. She is now offering personalized monologue and audition classes while performing in shows of her own.
