In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, Act II Playhouse is dedicated to providing all patrons with the necessary measures to allow for a comfortable and enjoyable theatrical experience.
Entrance
The entrance to the Box Office and the Theatre are through the front door at 56 East Butler Avenue. Patrons must climb five steps to climb from the entrance lobby to the theatre. For those who cannot climb steps, Act II has an elevator that can take patrons to the theatre level as well as to the top floor, where restrooms, the upper lobby and offices are located. Wheelchair accessibility to the theatre is also possible through a side exit door that leads to a ramped aisle in the theatre. Arrangements to use this method of entry must be made in advance by calling the Box Office at 215-654-0200, as this side door is an emergency exit with no external access.
Restrooms
Accessible restrooms are found on the upper level of the Playhouse and are open during all performances and whenever the lobbies are open. There is a handicapped restroom for patrons with wheelchairs and walkers. A water fountain is available nearby, and our staff is available to assist with further directions.
