Winner of a Philadelphia Geek Award for best "In Real Life" project! One Night Only!

Did you know that our town, Ambler, used to be known as "the asbestos capital of the world," housing a large asbestos company? The effects of that production linger to this day ... and these exciting, entertaining, and thought-provoking plays tell that story.

Written by some of Philadelphia's top playwrights, these plays - presented as staged readings, with music - were inspired by interviews with Ambler residents, activists, and government officials, and informed by research about our town's history.

Come be transported and inspired by these amazing plays, inspired by local, real-life stories! Only $10 per ticket!

These readings were created with the support of a Science Education Partnership Award (SEPA) from the National Institutes of Health to the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and to the Science History Institute (formerly the Chemical Heritage Foundation).
