SPRING ACTING CLASSES IN AMBLER

FAIRY TALE FUN
Ages: 6-8
Dates: Saturdays, April 22-May 20
Time: 9 a.m.-10:15 a.m.
Cost: $140
Through exciting vocal and movement games and exercises, students will learn the basics of acting on stage. Then they will explore some fairy tales using their new skills. In the final class, students will perform an original short play - inspired by a favorite fairy tale - on the Act II stage!

THE BASICS OF COMEDY
Ages: 9-12
Dates: Saturdays, April 22-May 20
Time: 10:30 a.m.-11:45 a.m.
Cost: $140
Students will learn what makes us laugh in this acting/improv class. Exercises will explore the various styles of comedic performance throughout the ages, and their history. Includes a short performance of skits for family and friends at the final class.

ADULT ACTING/IMPROV - INTRODUCTION
Dates: Mondays, May 1-June 12 (We will skip Memorial Day, May 29)
Time: 7:30 p.m.-9 p.m.
Cost: $150
Classes will begin with ensemble building exercises, the fundamentals of improvisation, and move on to performance technique and characterization. The class will culminate in a final performance on the Act II stage for family and friends.

ADULT ACTING/IMPROV - INTERMEDIATE
Dates: Mondays, May 1-June 12 (Note: Class will skip Memorial Day, May 29)
Time: 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m.
Cost: $150
For our returning adult students (who have taken our beginner improv/acting class), a continuation of the improv exercises and skills you learned in your previous class.

For our returning adult students (who have taken two or more of our improv classes) an advanced class focused on scene study.
